KT BBQ
KT BBQ is a freelance chef and food supply service for barbecue events.
They wanted a playful logo design of a cartoon chicken along with business card designs.
COMPLETED FINAL LOGO + BUSINESS CARD DESIGN FOR KT BBQ
Since the brief was very unspecific, I was a bit unsure of what direction to take the design. I ended up doing something more typical for a cafe/chain restaurant type of aesthetic.
After the client saw this first sketch, they became more specific and requested for a more 'masculine' chicken OR a baby chick.

I decided to try out the baby chick in my next sketches as it would suit the heart eyes that the client wanted to keep in the design.
The client chose design #2. I further gave some more variations based on this design.
THIRD DRAFT SKETCH
The client selected design #1 as the final logo. Now, I am left to finalise the logo.

CLEAN LOGO DRAFTS
I produced two variations of the final clean logo- one with colour and the other without- because the client couldn't decide which would better suit their style.
I displayed them against a black background because the client was sure about having a black business card design
I gave them six different fonts to choose from that I already thought suited the style that they were going for at this point.
It was quite challenging because the client was not sure of what they wanted. So I decided to let them see all possible variations, with colour and without. Also, having the layout be vertical or horizontal was an option they wanted to see.
In the end, option #4 was selected to be the final design.
