THE FLYING PAN
The Flying Pan is a hawker centre food stall that aims to bring affordable western cuisine to the neighbourhood.
I have previously worked with this client before so it was easy to understand their vision! They wanted a signboard, an update on their logo design, business card and menu designs.
REFERENCE IMAGES FROM CLIENT FOR THE SIGNBOARD BACKGROUND
My first round of drafts were well received, the client was pleased and wanted to go with the simple black outlines like in #3 but over a blue background
LOGO REVAMP DESIGN
It was a challenge designing over a previous work because it was impossible to resize the png file from the previous designer without losing the quality of the artwork.
To solve this, I traced over the previous drawing and made a resizable vector art version.
VECTOR ART CLIENT ALREADY HAD FROM PREVIOUS DESIGNER
Goals: Client just wanted their name 'The Flying Pan' to be incorporated in the circle logo.
Design #15 was chosen for the logo and signboard.
